Are You Balancing Your Present and Future Money Life?

Discover Balance

For those who are tired of the constant struggle of balancing finances, enjoying life now and planning for the future, if you want to take own your finances with a simple road map, this book answers it all!

Hi, I’m Yemi Duukia

Like I know, and you probably do too (age tends to teach us these things), Life decisions can end up taking us not quite where we planned for.

Too many factors, some under our control, some beyond can move and sail our ship.

I made life decisions, my life decisions did not turn out to be the fairy tale I pictured, these life decisions have ended up costing me a lot more financially than anticipated!

In my quest to fix things, I started a journey to face my failings head on. I did a midlife MOT, which I didn’t fail or pass! Further searches into the Googleverse led me to those financial milestones by age. Let’s just say I ended up less excited because I was lacking in a place, two or three.

And then the light bulb moment came – What better way is there to learn something than to share it? That thought gave birth to this blog.

Here I’ll be sharing, documenting my money journey and what I am learning as I navigate and master my finances in my forties. I’ll be doing all the things to get me back to financial wholeness, security and independence – maximizing earnings, saving, budgeting, debt management,  investing, retirement planning and wealth building.

Why? because who wants to be stressed about money when midlife is throwing a barrage of other things – a spouse, children, parents, a demanding career, and the constant taunt of ageing from a world living in a youth bubble.

One of life’s best gifts I am embracing right now is perspective. It is not all doom and gloom from here. Midlife is our second prime, a time where earnings are peak and wealth accumulation is for the taking.

The majority of working people would make money from a steady flow of income rather than a sudden rush. Think trickles and whoosh money, and we all know how powerful trickles of water can collect over time in ways we cannot fathom. It is the same power of compounding good money habits can have.

Paying attention to and funneling money right is a major mover financially.

I hope the resources you find on this blog would help with your growing, a growth that would take you into the financial life you want for yourself now and the years beyond.

Hope you stick around, join community and find value in it all.

Don't spend your entire life working a job you don't love so that you can maybe retire at 65. 🙄

Most of what’s published and shared about money is either wrong or so old school that it’s obsolete.

The challenge isn’t how to make more money, it’s how to make and use money to live a life you love, with time and space for yourself.

And that’s the heart of Millennial Money: stop hustling yourself into a breakdown and stop wasting time by managing money poorly.

Let’s stop the grind, together.
